Last year at this time I really had no idea what 2017 would bring. I was working a 9-5, we were working out of a workshop that wasn't really working for us and I was struggling to feel fulfilled. Half way through the year I really saw what burnout was. We were both putting in upwards of 70 hours a week into our work life yet it felt like we were just staying afloat. Eventually the time felt right for me to quit my day job so that I could put put my all into our business. Within the firs 3 months of quitting my job I saw our business explode and I started to feel excited about getting to work again. It's easy to feel nervous diving into a new year but for the first time I feel extremely excited. We have a lot planned for this year but if 2018 is anything like the last year then we are in for some surprises too. Cheers to a new year!
